Volkswagen T-Roc (Facelift) SUV in spy photos in advance: Details here
Volkswagen T-Roc (Facelift) was tested; Design details revealed

The German automaker Volkswagen is expected to present its facelift SUV T-Roc next year.

In the latest development, a test mule of the Car Sans Camouflage has been spied on the streets of Wolfsburg and reveals important design details.

The pictures suggest there will be a new single louvre grille, steel wheels with hubcaps, and redesigned bumpers.

Here are more details.

The car will have a chrome grille and slim headlights

The revised T-Roc will have a chrome-plated grille with two layers of honeycomb inserts, a wide spoiler, a silver-plated underrun protection and slim LED headlights with daytime running lights.

On the sides it is flanked by darkened B-pillars, ORVMs and steel wheels with covers.

A redesigned bumper, a windshield wiper and all-round LED taillights will be available at the rear.

It is currently powered by a 150 hp 1.5 liter engine

In India, the Volkswagen T-Roc 2021 is currently powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder TSI petrol engine with a maximum output of 150 hp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The mill is connected to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

The vehicle should have five seats and several airbags

The new Volkswagen T-Roc will have a 5-seater cabin with ventilated leather seats, automatic climate control, parking sensors and a multifunctional power steering wheel.

It is expected to include a touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

To ensure the safety of the passengers, several airbags, ABS with EBD, crash sensors and a reversing camera are to be offered.

Volkswagen T-Roc: prices and availability

Details on prices and availability of the facelifted Volkswagen T-Roc in India will be announced at the time of market launch. However, it should have a premium over the current model with a price tag of Rs. 21.35 lakh (ex showroom).
