Volkswagen opens the order books for electric SUV ID.5, prices from 46,500 EUR
There the entry-level model ID.5 Pro (with an output of 174 hp) is sold for 46,515 euros, which at today’s exchange rates would correspond to about 52,384 US dollars.
In addition to the Pro, there are two other ID.5 options on the table, namely the Pro Performance (204 hp from the electric motors) and the top model GTX with 299 hp and 490 km. Range (304 km – the average range for the others is 520 km / 323 miles, measured under WLTP ).
That may seem a bit restrictive, but Volkswagen says the GTX can charge 100 km in just six minutes thanks to fast charging.

“Our goal is to make Volkswagen the most popular volume brand for sustainable mobility. The ID.5 is a decisive milestone and a big step on our way to ZERO. “
