New Delhi: Volkswagen Passenger Cars India announced on Thursday that it has launched a subscription and lease ownership model for its Virtus sedan.
With the subscription model, customers can drive the Virtus home with a one-month deposit and advance payment of the rent for a term of 2 to 4 years.
This ownership model includes term life insurance, scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs to ensure customer convenience and affordability.
“The subscription model allows for an easy exit option with no risk of resale, with options to return the vehicle after use or upgrade at the end of the term. A monthly all-inclusive subscription rental of the Virtus starts at INR 26,987 (ex-Showroom Ahmedabad),” said Volkswagen.
As part of Power Lease, customers can own the Virtus with a one-month deposit and pre-lease with flexible term options from 2 to 4 years with no mileage limits.
The added benefit of using Power Lease is that you can keep the car at the end of the term for just 20% of the showroom price. In addition, the customer can purchase a Service Value Pack. New Volkswagen Virtus one-way monthly all-inclusive power lease rentals start at INR 29,991 (ex showroom Ahmedabad).
“With the significantly increased need for safe and affordable personal mobility options across all markets, there is a growing demand for dynamic ownership models. Buyers are looking for alternative routes and flexible solutions that allow them to purchase a vehicle at affordable prices based on their usage,” the company said in a statement.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said: “Our omni-channel mobility solution is available across our product portfolio and we are delighted to also add the newly launched Volkswagen Virtus. We are confident that the subscription and leasing platform will offer emerging Indian customers the opportunity to experience our refreshed product portfolio in a hassle-free and modern ownership experience.”
