Volkswagen extends vehicle service and warranty periods until June 30

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has joined a list of car manufacturers in the country to announce the extension of its free service period and warranty period for its customers. The manufacturer has extended the service periods by two months, until June 30.
The extension of these services has been made necessary by the lockdown imposed in several states across the country as the Covid-19 crisis continues to weigh heavily in its second wave since April.
Volkswagen has said it is taking several steps to support its customers, as well as dealers and employees in India, due to the current Covid-19 situation. The extensive and comprehensive service support the automaker will be offering through June 30 includes warranty, extended warranty, RSA, and service value packages for its customers.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said: âWith these unprecedented times in mind, we have announced an extension of all our comprehensive services and warranties until June 30, 2021. As Customer-centric brand, we put the safety of our customers first and our extensive service support offering is an assurance that all services will be provided where appropriate. We understand customer requirements and, through these initiatives, we aim to provide a peace of mind ownership experience to all of our valued customers. “
Volkswagen currently offers Polo hatchbacks, T-Roc and Tiguan Allspace SUVs and a Vento sedan in the Indian market. The Taigun and Tiguan facelift SUV is expected to launch in India in the near future.
