Prices for Volkswagen Polo and Vento increased by up to 27,000 rupees
– prices from poloGT trim remain unchanged
– New prices valid from September 1st, 2021
Last month, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India announced a price adjustment of up to three percent from September 2021. The automaker has now announced the model increase and we’re bringing you the details. Please note that bookings made on and up to August 31, 2021 do not fall into the new price list area and offer price protection.
The Volkswagen Polo is available with two engines – 1.0-liter MPI and 1.0-liter TSI engines. The former is offered exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission in two equipment variants – Trendline and Comfortline. These variants are now 10,500 rupees and 11,000 rupees more expensive. In the TSI series, the Comfortline TSI manual and the AT versions receive a price increase of 19,000 rupees.
The top of the line Highline Plus manual gets the highest revision of Rs 26,000, while the prices for the Highline Plus automatic transmission are now up by Rs 15,000. The prices from the showroom of the Polo GT remain unchanged and it is available at a price of Rs 9.99 lakh (from the showroom).
The Vento sedan also received a significant price hike with the Highline automatic, which is now Rs 21,000 more expensive. The higher Highline Plus MT and AT will be Rs 23,000 and Rs 27,000 more expensive, respectively. The prices of the other variants in the lineup remain unchanged.
