Onto expands its fleet with new Renault and VW electric vehicles
Onto adds more than 1,000 Renault Zoes and expands the range of VW electric vehicles (EVs) in its fleet.
The electric car subscription service launched in 2017 is experiencing continuous growth and increasing customer demand.
It now operates a fleet of more than 4,000 cars offered on a flexible subscription basis.
The recent influx of new models includes Renault’s Zoe E-Tech and the ID.3, ID.4 and e-Up! from VW.
Vincent Tourette, Managing Director of Renault UK, said: “It is fantastic to see Onto underscore their trust in Zoe E-Tech with such a significant contract. As one of Onto’s most popular cars, it is destined to bring the many benefits of an electric vehicle to thousands of other drivers at an affordable price, and to support our own strategy of providing customers with affordable and sustainable mobility that one offers a fantastic driving experience. We look forward to working with Onto as the Renault E-Tech range grows stronger and we are extremely pleased that the Zoe E-Tech has contributed to the rapid growth of such a relevant and forward-thinking company. “
Nick O’Neill, Fleet Manager at Volkswagen UK, added: “I am very pleased that this contract with Onto is being fulfilled. Enjoy Volkswagen e-mobility, countless others are seeing the ID. Models back on our screens when Onto’s TV campaign goes live.
“That’s what it’s about: showing even more people how good our models are – be it through use in the Onto fleet by customers who later buy their own Volkswagen electric vehicle, or by handing over the models.” More attention to British Streets and on TV. Onto’s order and its attention-grabbing promotion show how secure the company is from e-up !, ID.3 and ID.4. “
Onto also offers the Citroen e-C4, Hyundai Kona Electric and Peugeot e-208 on its platform. The subscriptions do not require a deposit and include the cost of car, insurance, breakdown protection and maintenance for a monthly payment. It even includes the power for charging via RFID cards, which provide free access to BP Pulse, Shell Recharge and Instavolt charging networks with over 12,000 stations in the UK. The core of the attraction of the subscription is that there is no long-term commitment.
