Motorhome manufacturer Hobby cooperates with Volkswagen – Motorhome News – Motorhomes & Campervans

The German camper van manufacturer Hobby has signed an agreement with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles that lays the foundation for a long-term cooperation between the two companies
As part of the partnership, a new hobby motorhome based on the Volkswagen Crafter will be presented later this year at the Caravan Salon 2022 in Düsseldorf.
Lars Krause, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, says:
In recent years we have noticed a steadily growing trend in our mobile homes. This not only applies to our California models, but to the entire industry. “Vanlife” has become a real lifestyle. We are therefore very pleased about the partnership with Hobby, as we are certain that our Crafter is an ideal base vehicle for their motorhomes.
Bernd Löher, Managing Director of Hobby, adds:
The cooperation with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will be groundbreaking for the Hobby-Fendt Group and will open up completely new possibilities for us. The Crafter comes with all the features that our customers already know from their car and that they appreciate – especially in the area of safety.
