Chinese Car Company Releases Electric Car With Warm Man Mode Function For “Oriental Women”
A Chinese car company is attracting attention by marketing a new electric vehicle for women.
The battery powered one Ora Ballet Cat is made by Great Wall Motors, a Baoding-based automaker in Heibei Province, and according to the company, comes with features “specially designed for oriental women.”
Inspired by the Volkswagen Beetle, the electric vehicle comes in pastel colors to match its retro design. This also includes cosmetic mirrors with LED ring lighting.
“When you look up, the intimate super-large LED makeup mirror is in front of you, and the light source equipment specially designed for oriental women illuminates the skin, and the makeup effect is more perfect,” according to the Ora brand Great Wall Motors wrote.

Built with “ergonomics centered around smaller female frames,” the Ora Ballet Cat also features a “Lady Driving Mode” that uses a voice-activated automatic parking system and automatically increases the distance between the vehicle and the car in front.
Another feature of the Ora Ballet Cat is the “Warm Man Mode” which has been added specifically to provide comfort for riders suffering from menstrual cramps.
“When you’re menstruating, you can get cold and panic as a result,” the company said explained. “So what does warm man mode do? It cranks up the heating and air conditioning with one click, ‘to warm the body and mind.’”

Great Wall Motors also offers those Ora Punk Cata Volkswagen Beetle-inspired model not marketed directly to women.
